Sheet vinyl, one sheet, no joins
Laid in a single sheet with no joins for water to get into. Sheet vinyl is soft, quiet and easy to keep clean, making it a practical, affordable choice for bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms.
A practical floor for wet and busy rooms
In everyday use, "lino" usually means sheet vinyl: a flexible floor that comes on a roll and is laid in one piece. With no seams to catch dirt or let water through, it's ideal for rooms that see splashes and spills.
Today's ranges come in convincing wood, tile and stone designs, and many have a cushioned backing that makes them warmer and softer underfoot. For areas that need extra grip, safety flooring adds slip resistance.

Sheet vinyl: your questions answered
Can't see your question here? Call us on 01274 057433 or visit the showroom at Forster Square Retail Park.
Is lino the same as vinyl?
In everyday use, yes: most people say "lino" when they mean sheet vinyl. True linoleum is a different product made from natural materials. We'll help you choose the right one for your room.
Is sheet vinyl good for bathrooms?
Yes. Because it's laid in one piece with no joins, sheet vinyl is one of the most practical floors for bathrooms, and slip-resistant safety flooring is available too.
Sheet vinyl or LVT: what's the difference?
Sheet vinyl comes on a roll and is laid in one seamless sheet, which makes it practical and affordable. LVT comes as individual planks or tiles with a thicker wear layer and a more premium look.
